About Resurrection School.
In a Downtown Jersey City urban neighborhood, Resurrection School's story is a remarkable one. In 1997, five downtown Jersey City Parishes (Sts. Boniface, Bridget, Mary, Michael and Peter) formed the new Resurrection Parish. The parish remained committed to its three elementary schools and to its high school. In 2000 the three elementary schools reconfigured and became Resurrection School with a mission to teach peace. In 2002 Holy Rosary School joined Resurrection School and at this time we became Resurrection School, A Peaceable School. In 2006 Resurrection School was the first faith-based school in New Jersey to join the Green Flag, Green Faith School Program.
