. The Middle States Association granted full accreditation to Resurrection School.
. Dominican Sisters of Caldwell, NJ awarded the Dominican Sisters Peace Initiative to Resurrection School.
. The New Jersey Peace Action Coalition dedicated Resurrection school as an official Peace site.
. Mayor of Jersey City proclaimed Resurrection School as a Peaceable School.
. Resurrection School was the first faith based school in New Jersey to join the Green Flag/Green Faith Program.
Research has proven the correlation between learning peacemaking skills and improving standardized test scores.
Successes:
. More than 95% of Resurrection students come to school every day
. Resurrection graduates, with few exceptions, earn their high school diploma- many from prestigious prep and charter schools-despite living in neighborhoods with a very low graduation rate.
. The majority of Resurrection graduates are accepted into selective Catholic, Independent and Public Magnet Schools. |
